Sign-in and password

You sign in to Random Assistant with your email and a password. Connecting Google or Microsoft links a mailbox; it is not a way to sign in.

Signing in

Go to app.random-assistant.com, enter your email and password, and press Sign in. A password has at least 12 characters.

Forgot your password

1. Ask for a link

   On the sign-in page, press Forgot password?, enter your email and press Send reset link. When you are signed in, you can also start a reset under Settings → Profile → Password.

2. Open the email

   It comes from security@random-assistant.com. The link is valid for 30 minutes and works once. If it has expired, press Request a new link.

3. Set a new password

   Enter it twice and press Update password. Then sign in with the new password.

After a reset

A reset signs you out on every device, so anyone who knew the old password loses access. We also email you that your password changed. If that was not you, write to security@random-assistant.com straight away.

To protect your privacy, the page always says a link is on its way, even when no account exists for the address.
