Connect Attio and Random works from your people, companies and deals. Every change it makes in Attio waits for your OK.

What it reads

Your people, companies and deals, so People and companies, Pipeline and Chat work from your real records.

What it may write

Only when you ask, and only after you approve the card:

• A new record.
• A change to a person, a new deal, or a change to a deal.
• A deal moved to another stage.
• One field you edit in People or Pipeline.

Random does not delete records in Attio.

Connect and disconnect

1. Create an API key

   In your Attio workspace settings, create an API key.

2. Paste it into Random

   The workspace owner opens Connections, chooses Attio and pastes the key.

To replace the key later, use Update API key on the card. HubSpot, Pipedrive and Attio work one at a time. If another of them is connected, the button reads Switch to Attio: the other CRM is disconnected, its records stay there, and your Random records stay unchanged. To stop, the owner presses Disconnect on the Attio card. Your records stay in Attio and no longer appear in Random.

Where your data is

Your Attio data stays with Attio, in the EU or the US depending on your account, under your own contract with Attio. What Random keeps is stored in the EU. See the sub-processor register.
