How it works
Random works in one loop: it reads, it prepares, you decide, and it learns from what you change. Nothing is sent without you.
The loop
- Connect
You connect a mailbox: Google, Microsoft Outlook or Microsoft 365, or another account over IMAP (mail only). Before you connect, the app shows what Random will read.
- Read
Random reads your recent mail, to sort it and draft replies, and your calendar, for the brief and meeting prep.
- Prepare
It sorts new mail, writes reply drafts into your Drafts folder, writes prep before external meetings, tracks your follow-ups, with a draft for your OK when a message is due, and builds your morning brief.
- You decide
You send drafts from your own mailbox. Changes to your calendar or connected CRM wait on an approval card until you approve them. A follow-up draft waits on the Decisions page until you approve it.
- It learns
Your edits show it how you write. After 15 substantial edits, Random notes how you change its drafts and writes that way from then on. Random Brain keeps facts about your people, and you can correct them.
Three things it never does
- It never sends an email from your mailbox.
- It does not join, record or transcribe your calls.
- It does not use your data to train AI models.
