Motion

Connect Motion and you can ask Random about your planned tasks and schedule, or have it add and update tasks in Motion. Every change waits for your OK.

What it reads

On your instruction: your tasks, projects, recurring tasks, statuses and schedule in Motion.

What it may write

Only when you ask, and only after you approve the card:

• A new task.
• A task marked complete.
• A task renamed, rescheduled or otherwise edited.

Connect and disconnect

1. Create an API key

   In Motion, create an API key for your account.

2. Paste it into Random

   The workspace owner opens Connections, chooses Motion and pastes the key.

To replace the key, use Update API key on the card. To stop, the owner presses Disconnect. Your tasks stay in Motion.

Where your data is

Your Motion data stays with Motion, in the US, under your own contract with Motion. What Random keeps is stored in the EU. See the sub-processor register.
