Say it once: composer, forms and dictation

Type or say one sentence. Random turns it into a filled form for a task, a follow-up, an event, a note or a person, and you press Create.

How it works

  1. Say it

Write a line such as "Call @Jonas tomorrow at 10", or press Dictate and speak.

    You
  2. Random fills the form

It reads the sentence and fills every field it can, such as the title, the date and the people. It links names it finds in your CRM and asks which one you mean when a name fits more than one record.

    Prepares
  3. You check and create

Change anything, then press Create task, Create event and so on. Nothing is saved before that. An event still waits for your approval before it reaches your calendar.

Where it works

In Chat, the forms cover events, tasks, follow-ups, notes and people. The same form opens from New task, New follow-up, New note, New person, New company, New deal and + New event on their pages. For an event with guests you choose under Invites whether to Send an invitation or Don't send one.

Dictation

  • Dictation works in Chat, in every form above, in Notes, in inbox replies and when you describe a workflow.
  • Recording stops on its own after two seconds of silence, or when you press stop.
  • In Chat and Notes, your words appear in grey while you speak. When you stop, the final text takes their place.
  • The words are cleaned up before they are used: filler words and false starts go, punctuation and numbers are fixed.

What it does not do

It does not save anything you have not checked, and it does not invite guests unless you choose to. A form that names a person it cannot match leaves that part for you to decide.
